I think it’s safe to say the kids loved Maui this summer! They are already planning our next trip, meanwhile I’m still trying to recover from this one! In eight days we made the 10,000 foot trek up to Haleakala Volcano Summit to see the sunset, went Ziplining, visited a Lavender Farm in Upcountry Maui, devoured Macadamia Nut Pancakes with Coconut Syrup, took a Snorkel Cruise to Molokini Crater, traveled to Oahu for the day to visit Pearl Harbor and sight see at the famous North Shore, braved the Road to Hana, planted our feet in the Black Sand at Waianapanapa State Park, explored a Lava Tube, enjoyed the most amazing Donut EVER at Komoda Bakery, shopped in Old Lahaina, played under the Banyan Tree, ate way too much food at the Old Lahaina Luau, sipped Mai Tais in the Sand, and of course we can’t forget about all of the Pineapple we ate!!! It was an AMAZING trip! But…I think some of my favorite moments were just hanging out on the beach watching the kids enjoy the water. It’s as if they’ve lived by the ocean their whole lives, they had so much fun! Their smiles were genuine, and they laughed the whole time! It’s something I’ll never forget. Who am I kidding?!?! I’m ready to go back right now!!!
